Services for Jack Major Duncan of Ruth are 2 p.m., Friday, Feb.21, at Shady Grove Baptist Church with burial in Ruth Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-8 p.m., at Catchings Funeral Home inMcComb, and Friday from 1-2 p.m., at the church.

Mr. Duncan, 90, died Feb. 19, 2003, at Camellia Estates inMcComb. He was born in Scott County on March 24, 1912, to Wiley P.Duncan and Willie Alberta Williams Duncan.

He was a retired dairy farmer and former employee of theMississippi Highway Department. He was an Army veteran. He was amember of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brothers, SamuelOtto, Carl, Charlie, George, J.B., Bryant, Earl and Oscar Duncan;and his sisters, Myrtle Duncan and Emma Boling.

Survivors are his wife of 61 years, Ida Mae Boyd Duncan; hisnephews, Tommy Duncan of Byram, and Billy Duncan of Leesburg; andhis nieces, Barbara Ott of Morton, Mary Davis of Pelahatchie, PatsyZamentto of Grenada, Jo Ann Van of Oklahoma, Cathy Duncan of Texasand Elizabeth Duncan of Meridian.
