Graveside services for Luther Tillman of Odgen, Utah are todayin Myers Evergreen Memorial Park.

Mr. Tillman, 74, died Feb. 14, 2003, in Odgen. He was born inLincoln County on July 22, 1928, to Myrtis Rancifer Tillman andArdenious Tillman.

He was retired from the Hill Air Force Base after 25 years ofservice as a painter. He was a member of Rose Hill MissionaryBaptist Church in Bogue Chitto. He was reared and educated inQuentin and Lincoln County.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, MagnoliaElmore Tillman; a son, Lou Gehrig Tillman; and a sister, WonzieTillman Nelson.

Survivors are his sons, James Johnson of Brookhaven, BennyTillman of Odgen, Robin Tillman of Houston, Texas, and C.C. Scottof Birmingham, Ala.; his brothers, Joe Tillman and Eddie Tillman,both of Clearfield, Utah; his sisters, Dorothy R. Holston and JoyceA. Frye, both of Ogden, Addie M. Norling of Oakland, Calif., andShirley G. Walker of Richmond, Va.; and four grandchildren, onegreat-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
