Services for Willie Lowe Jr. of Union Church are 2 p.m.,Saturday, March 1, at Hickory Block Missionary Baptist Church withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is today from 1-5:30 p.m., at Williams Mortuary, andSaturday from 1-2 p.m., at the church.

Mr. Lowe, 54, died Feb. 24, 2003, at his residence. He was bornin Jefferson County on Sept. 2, 1948, to Willie “Bill” Lowe Sr.,and Helen Lowe.

He was an Army veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of HickoryBlock Missionary Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his mother; and his wife, Linda”Peaches” Lowe.

Survivors are his father, Willie “Bill” Lowe Sr., of UnionChurch; his sons, Keith Lowe, Christopher Lowe, and Malcolm Lowe,all of Union Church; his daughter, Angela Lowe of Union Church; hisstepsons, Jerome David and Greg Thompson, both of Union Church; hisstepdaughter, Tracy Thompson of Union Church; his brothers, RobertLowe and Kenneth Lowe, both of Union Church; his sisters, HazelWyatt, Mary Lowe Smith, Barbara Lowe, Rebecca Henderson and NanettaLowe, all of Union Church; his 12 grandchildren; and a host ofnieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
