Services for Sallie Mae Allen of Brookhaven are 2 p.m. Sunday atBrookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Macedonia BaptistChurch Cemetery.

Visitation is today from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Allen, 79, died March 7, 2003, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Lincoln County on May 10, 1923, to IssacDelaughter and Carrie Sykes Delaughter.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Macedonia BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a daughter, ShirleyAllen Case; and 10 brothers and sisters.

Survivors are her husband, Ernest H. Allen of Brookhaven; hersons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Minnie Allen of Monticello,and Bob and Joann Allen of Brookhaven; her daughters andson-in-law, Joyce and Tommy Smith, Ann Case, Jane Jackson, andPeggy King, all of Brookhaven; her stepson and stepdaughter-in-law,Roy and Alice Allen of Tomball, Texas; her stepdaughter andstepson-in-law, Connie and Jimmy Smith of Brookhaven; her sister,Dovie Mae Walker of Natchez; and 15 grandchildren, 19great-grandchildren, six step grandchildren, and 15 stepgreat-grandchildren.
