Services for Catherine Smith Washington of Sacramento, Calif.,and formerly of Brookhaven, are 2 p.m., Sunday, March 16, at CenterStreet Church of Christ with burial in Siloam Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from noon until 6 p.m., with family hourfrom 6-7 p.m., at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Washington, 46, died March 8, 2003, in Sacramento. She wasborn in Brookhaven on April 25, 1956, to Albert James Smith andErnestine Smith.

She was disabled.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, SimmieLouis Smith and Roland Dean Smith; and her grandchild, JaymonPryor.

Survivors are her husband, Jerry Washington of Brookhaven; herdaughters, Sylvia Wade of Jackson, Catrina Williams of SanFrancisco, and Lenecca Marshall of Sacramento; her son, LewayneStitt II; her brothers, Dempsey E. Smith of Brookhaven, Olian JamesSmith of Joliet, Ill., and Albert L. Smith of Hammond, La.; hersisters, Josie Carter, Lillie Blue, and Jeanette Washington, all ofBrookhaven, Joan Thompson of Summit, and Nellie Bryant of Chicago;and four grandchildren.
