Perrett hurls shutout; Co-Lin splits twinbill

NEW ORLEANS – Freshman pitcher Tyler Perrett tossed a 4-hitteras the Co-Lin Wolves rebounded from an opening game 1-0 loss toDelgado and beat the Dolphins by a similar score in the nightcap.Perrett, a right-hander from Hazlehurst (Jackson Prep), struck out6 batters, walked none and hit 1 batter.
Co-Lin 1, Delgado 0
Chase Coley and Ben Goza singled for Co-Lin.
The Wolves pushed home the decisive run in the third inning.Goza singled. Brandon Hubbard advanced Goza on a ground out. Coleydelivered the RBI single.
Co-Lin (8-10) resumes play Saturday at Hinds Community Collegein Raymond, starting at 1 p.m.

John Piper was the winning pitcher. He struck out 3 and walked1, allowing 3 hits.
Stuck with a tough loss, Lance DeVille gave up 1 run on 3 hits.He struck out 5 and walked 2.
Shortstop Aaron Guillot tripled in the fourth but was leftstranded. The Wolves got a single from Coley and Oberschmidt.
The Dolphins scored once in the fifth. Bryson LeBlanc drew awalk and scored on a base hit by Wayne Bonnecaze.
