Services for Edith Claughton Rowland of Meadville are 2 p.m.Monday, March 24, at Roxie Baptist Church with burial in RoxieCemetery.

Visitation is Sunday, March 23, from 5-9 p.m. at FranklinFuneral Home and Monday, March 24, from noon to 2 p.m. at RoxieBaptist Church.

Mrs. Rowland, 97, died March 21, 2003, at Meadville NursingHome. She was born in Franklin County on Sept. 25, 1905, to thelate John and Janie Graves Claughton.

She was a retired substitute mail carrier. She was a member ofRoxie Baptist Church.

Survivors are a host of nieces and nephews.
