Robert ‘Bob’ Peters

Services for Robert “Bob” Peters of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.Sunday, April 6, at First Baptist Church with burial in RiverwoodMemorial Cemetery.

Mr. Peters, 82, died April 4, 2003, at his residence. He wasborn in Siebert, Colo., on April 21, 1920, to William G. and LilaCrawford Peters.

He was a retired wood preserving salesman. He was a member ofFirst Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of WorldWar II and a former P.O.W.

Survivors are his wife, Era Cole Peters of Brookhaven; son anddaughter-in-law, Bill and Karen Peters of Hattiesburg; daughtersand sons-in-law, Martha and Hubert Jamison of Beaufort, S.C., andMary and Joe Smith of Brookhaven; six grandchildren, Eric Peters,Anna Ferrell, Hugh Jamison, Amy Jamison, Brad Smith and Tate Smith;and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Baptist Children’s Village.

Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
