Graveside services for Lorenzo D. McCoy Jr. of Ruleville were 10a.m., Saturday, April 12, 2003, at Drew Cemetery. Thweatt-KingFuneral Home of Cleveland was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. McCoy, 82, died Thursday, April 10, 2003, atGreenwood-Leflore Hospital in Greenwood.

He was a farmer in the Sunflower County area. He was a member ofDrew Methodist Church.

Preceding him in death were his wife, Marquerite Hart McCoy; hisbrother, Glenn McCoy, and his grandson, Chris McCoy.

Survivors are his son, Joe C. McCoy of Ruleville; his daughters,Virginia McRee of Oxford, Peggy Holder of Oxford, Olivia Roe ofChampaign, Ill.; his sisters, Elsie Bornman of Clarksdale, VirginiaBonds of Natchez, Dorothy Vance of Brookhaven, Ann Rice of LongBeach; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorials may be made to Make-A-Wish of Mississippi or LaBonheur Children’s Hospital.
