Services for Daisy Grace Ard McGee of Brookhaven are 1 p.m.,today at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in BeauregardCemetery.

Mrs. McGee, 82, died April 26, 2003, at Beverly Health Care. Shewas born in Jayess on April 4, 1921, to John Ard and Ella LambertArd.

She was a retired licensed practical nurse, serving 18 years atKing’s Daughters Medical Center. She was a member of the Baptistfaith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, RaphordCarl “Ray” McGee; her brothers, Walter Ard, Carlos Ard, and J.D.Ard; and her sisters, Dessie Smith, Bertha McKinney, Bama Ard, andIna Varnadore.

Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Carl “Tony” andMargaret Godbold McGee of Wesson; and her granddaughter, RebeccaGrace McGee of Clinton.
