Services for Fay Scott of Meadville are 2 p.m., Tuesday, May 6,at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Byrds ChapelCemetery.

Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m., and Monday from 8:30 a.m.until 2 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Scott, 79, died May 3, 2003, at Meadville ConvalescentHome. She was born in Franklin County on Oct. 23, 1923, to LeonPorter and Pearl Gammill Porter.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Praise Cathedral Churchof God.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, Jeff F.Scott.

Survivors are her sons, Glenn Scott of Meadville, Ronnie Scottof Brookhaven, and Jerry Scott of Meridian; her daughter, LaverneCupstid of Meadville; her brother, Ned Porter of Natchez; hersister, Eulilia Stroud of Natchez; and seven grandchildren, fivegreat-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; and a host ofother relatives and friends.
