Services for Eliza Harris of Brookhaven are 2 p.m., Saturday,May 17, at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church with burial inHillcrest Cemetery.
Visitation is Friday from noon until 6 p.m., with family hourfrom 6-7 p.m., at Tyler Funeral Home.
Mrs. Harris, 93, died May 11, 2003, at University Medical Centerin Jackson. She was born in Copiah County on May 10, 1910, to JoeLofton and Mollie Burton Lofton.
She was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Luke MissionaryBaptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, HenryHarris; a daughter, Geraldine Kimble; her brothers, Bennie, David,Percy, Ed, Lawrence, and Robert Lofton; and her sisters, Carrie,Lula, Lucille, Alice, Herdestean, Beatrice, and Mary Ella.
Survivors are her daughters, Molly Catchings of Brookhaven, andChristine Dunn of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; and 13 grandchildren, 33great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and a host ofnieces and nephews.
