Services for Nolan Henry “Duck” Johnson Jr. of Osyka are 3 p.m.,Tuesday, June 3, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel in McComb withburial in Bethany-Barron Cemetery in McComb.
Visitation is today from 5-9 p.m., and Tuesday from 9 a.m.-3p.m., at the funeral home.
Mr. Johnson, 28, died May 29, 2003, at University Medical Centerin Jackson. He was born in Baton Rouge, La., on Nov. 9, 1974, toNolan H. Johnson Sr. of Osyka and Cathyrn Wyatt Johnson of Zachary,La.
He was a tree climber/cutter for Ard Tree Service. He was amember of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. He was a memberof Hog Chain Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Nelsonand Mamie Johnson; and a nephew, Matthew Nolan Scarberry.
Other than his parents, he is survived by his wife, Carla JordanJohnson of Brookhaven; his son, Nolan Henry “D.J.” Johnson III ofLiberty; his daughter, Selena Cheyenne Johnson of Brookhaven; hisbrother, Jeremiah Johnson of Osyka; his sister, Heather Frazier ofOsyka; his step-brother, Irie Williams Jr. of Osyka; hisstep-sister, Lisa Guillory of McComb; his maternal grandparents,Claude and Dona Wyatt of Zachary; and numerous nieces, nephews andother relatives.
