Services for Thomas Jack Rossett of Shreveport, La., are 11 a.m.Monday, June 2, at Woodridge Baptist Church in Shreveport.

Mr. Rossett, 61, died May 29, 2003, of congested heart failureat the Veterans Administration Hospital in Shreveport. He was bornon Jan. 28, 1942, to the late Millard Louis Sr. and Gladys HerrinRossett of Shreveport.

He was a minister with the Truckers Christian Chapel Ministry infour states and a retired truck driver. He was a Vietnam veteran.After his discharge, he resumed his trucking career and brought himto Mississippi for 11 years. During that time, he was an activemember of the Disabled American Veterans, Veterans of Foreign Wars,Army National Guard, and an active member and deacon at RuthBaptist Church. He retired as a truck driver and was ordained intothe ministry in 2001.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a sister, MargieRiley of Texas.

Survivors are his wife of 33 years, Evelyn Clark Rossett ofRuth; daughter, Donna Rossett Johnson of Clinton; brothers, N.L.Rossett Jr. of Lake Charles, La., and Roger Rossett Sr. ofShreveport; and numerous nieces and nephews.
