Services for Mary Nell Cook of Brookhaven are 10 a.m., Friday,July 4, at Beauregard United Methodist Church with burial inBeauregard Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 6-9 p.m., at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mrs. Cook, 82, died July 2, 2003, at Haven Hall Nursing Home.She was born in Beauregard on Jan. 1, 1921, to John Henry Dickersonand Stella Quarles Dickerson.

She was retired from Potter Company. She was a member ofBeauregard United Methodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her husband, John William Cook Sr.;her parents; five brothers; and one sister.

Survivors are her sons, John Cook Jr. of Ridgeland, Tommy CookSr. of Wesson, and George Cook of College Station, Texas; herbrothers, Harry Dickerson of Monroe, Wis., and Leon Farmer ofBeauregard; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
