Services for Lucille England Howell of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Friday, July 11, at New Salem Baptist Church in Franklin Countywith burial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 5-9 p.m., at Franklin FuneralHome.

Mrs. Howell, 87, died July 9, 2003, at BeverlyHealthcare-Brookhaven. She was born in Calhoun City on Oct. 9,1915, to London England and Carrie McPhil England.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of New Salem BaptistChurch.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, StanleyHowell; four brothers; and two sisters.

Survivors are her daughters, Frankie Applewhite and CatherynMagee, both of McCall Creek; her sons, Jerry Lynn Howell of McCallCreek and Billy Simmons of Grenada; 14 grandchildren; 25great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
