Services for Gladys Comeal Magee McDaniel of Baton Rouge, La.,are 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapelwith burial in Bogue Chitto Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 9-11 a.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. McDaniel, 87, died July 13, 2003, at Baton Rouge MedicalCenter. She was born in McComb on May 19, 1916, to Henry W. Mageeand Georgia Nettles Magee.

She was a homemaker and was retired from Stahl Urban Co. She wasa member of Florida Boulevard Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Robert K.McDaniel; one sister, Elsie Mae Brown; and three brothers, Edgar,Hugh and Ray Magee.

Survivors are her daughter, Janice McDaniel Cedars; her son anddaughter-in-law, Jack and Georgene McDaniel of Concord, Calif.; hersister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Marion Davis of BogueChitto; her brother and sister-in-law, John H. and Idelle Magee ofBogue Chitto; her grandchildren, Thomas McDaniel and Dora Noyes;and her great-grandchild, Abigail Noyes.
