Services for Alex S. Brabham Sr. of Brookhaven are noonSaturday, July 19, 2003, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday, at thefuneral home.

Mr. Brabham, 78, died July 14, 2003, at his residence. He wasborn in Amite County on July 22, 1924, to J.W. Brabham and HattieStewart Brabham.

He was retired from State Farm Insurance Company. He was agraduate of Louisiana State University Business College. He was amember of Faith Presbyterian.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his first wife, HildaValarie Brabham; a daughter, Hilda Lidell Brabham; and twobrothers, Welton Brabham and Mike Brabham.

Survivors are his wife, Peggy Kees Brabham of Brookhaven; hisson, Alex Brabham Jr., and wife, Eunice, of Brookhaven; hisdaughters and son-in-law, Brenda Gayle Brabham of Denver, Colo.,and Barbara and David Sutton of Gulf Shores, Ala.; his sisters,Carrie Lee Hawkins of Starkville, and Yvonn Brumfield of McComb;four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
