Ethel Mae Jackson

Services for Ethel Mae Jackson of Brookhaven were 11 a.m.,Friday, Sept. 12, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial inRosehill Cemetery.

Mrs. Jackson, 90, died Sept. 9, 2003, at Haven Hall NursingHome. She was born in Brookhaven on Feb. 3, 1913, to William Marrand Hattie Caroline Marr.

She was a homemaker and a member of Jackson Street UnitedMethodist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, DeweyV. Jackson.

Survivors are her daughter, Martha Ann McGee of Brookhaven; hersister, Helen Jordan of Brookhaven; her brother, William E. Marr ofTupelo; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Phillip Pigott

Services for Phillip Pigott of Magnolia are 11 a.m., Saturday,Sept. 13, at Osyka Baptist Church with burial in Osyka Cemetery.Hartman Funeral Home of McComb is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Saturday from 9-11 a.m., at the church.

Mr. Pigott, 39, died Sept. 10, 2003, due to injuries sustainedin an automobile accident. He was born in Pascagoula on June 28,1964, to George and Patricia Pigott.

He was a marine engineer, and a member of Osyka Baptist Churchand Rising Glory Lodge No. 215.

Survivors are his parents; his wife, Crystal Southerland Pigott;his son, Phillip Pigott Jr.; his brothers, George “Rusty” Pigottand ex-wife, Mary, and Joey Pigott and wife, Evelyn; his niece,Kelly Pigott; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
