Mike Wayne Buchanan
Services for Mike Wayne Buchanan of Monticello are 2:30 p.m.,Sunday, Sept. 14, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial inBethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation is Sunday, Sept. 14, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at thefuneral home.
Mr. Buchanan, 37, died Sept. 12, 2003, in a eighteen-wheeleraccident on Highway 27 South. He was born on Dec. 5, 1965, toDelmus Ray Buchanan and Shelby Jean Cooper Buchanan ofMonticello.
He was a truck driver. He was a member of Riverside BaptistChurch.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.Leslie Buchanan, Christine Dunaway; and a brother, Delmus RayBuchanan Jr.
Survivors are his wife, Karen Hammond Buchanan; his daughter,Lee Andrews Buchanan of Monticello; his son, Michael Bo Buchanan ofMonticello; his brothers, Mark Buchanan of Monticello and MackBuchanan of Jayess; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. ClaytonDunaway of Tylertown.
McKinley Paul Campau
Services for McKinley Paul Campau of Brookhaven are 10 a.m.Monday, Sept. 15, at Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church withburial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.
Visitation is Sunday, Sept. 14, from 5-9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Campau, 72, died Sept. 13, 2003, at Mississippi BaptistHospital in Jackson. He was born in Helena, Ark., on July 25, 1931,to the late McKinley Campau and Marion Wright Campau.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran with service in the Korean Conflict.He was a member of Middleton Creek Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors are his wife, Retha Freeman Campau of Brookhaven; hisstep-son, the Rev. Glen Mullins of Brookhaven; his sisters, MarionBryant and Martina Via, both of Pine Bluff, Ark., Margaret Thorburnof Russelville, Ark., and Rosie Lambert of Birmingham; his fivegrandchildren; his 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces andnephews.
