Services for Ulysses Doyle Sr. of Bogue Chitto are 11 a.m.,Saturday, Sept. 20, at Williams Mortuary Memorial Chapel withburial in Bogue Chitto-Norfield Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon – 6 p.m., at the funeralhome.

Mr. Doyle, 69, died Sept. 16, 2003, at Countrybrook LivingCenter. He was born in New Orleans, La., on June 2, 1934, to EdwardDoyle and Victoria Ratcliff Doyle.

He was disabled.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a daughter,Carmetta Doyle Slaughter.

Survivors are his wife, Bertha Doyle of Chicago, Ill.; hisdaughters, Carolyn and Jacqueline; his sons, Ulysses Doyle Jr. ofWinstonville, Victor Doyle of Detroit, Mich., and Johnny W. Doyle;his brothers, Melvin Doyle of New York, and the Rev. J.W. Jacksonof Bogue Chitto; and five grandchildren.
