Services for Clifton E. Wallace of the Montgomery community are10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 24, at Catchings Funeral Home inMcComb with burial in Montgomery Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5-8 p.m., and Wednesday from9:30-10:30 a.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Wallace, 94, died Sept. 22, 2003, at McComb Nursing andRehab. He was born in Lincoln County on Nov. 14, 1908, to Tom J.Wallace and Emma B. Brown Wallace.

He was a retired farmer and an Army veteran of World War II. Hewas a member of Montgomery Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, WilliamErnest Wallace and Ellis Ray Wallace; and two sisters, Edna MaeWallace Pope and Gertie Lucille Wallace.

Survivors are his brother, Thomas Jewel “Skeet” Wallace ofProgress; his sister, Lillie Belle McGehee of Summit; and numerousnieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
