Services for Gary Dale Smith of Union Church are 11 a.m.,Tuesday, Sept. 30, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel with burial inUnion Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Monday from 5-9 p.m., and Tuesday from 8:30-11a.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Smith, 49, died Sept. 27, 2003, at Natchez RegionalHospital. He was born in Franklinton, La., on Aug. 12, 1954, toBetty Pigott Smith and Gary Smith.

He was a construction worker, and a member of the SouthernBaptist faith.

Preceding him in death were his father, Gary Smith; and hisgrandparents.

Survivors are his wife, Sandra Gamble Smith of Union Church; hisdaughters, Jennifer Case and Crystal Smith, both of Union Church;his son, Cory Smith of Union Church; his sister, Betty Jane Burrisof Smithdale; his brother, Herbert Smith of Wiggins; and twograndchildren.
