Services for Elsie Allen of Brookhaven are 2:30 p.m., Saturday,Nov. 8, at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church with burial in RoseHill Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 7-8 p.m., at Tyler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Allen, 94, died Nov. 2, 2003, at Haven Hall Health CareCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on Aug. 13, 1909, to JohnAnderson and Mary Anderson.

She was a former housekeeper for John Perkins. She was a memberof St. Mark M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her husband, DenonAllen.

Survivors are her nieces, Teretha Burge, Dorothy Watkins andKatie Kelly, all of Brookhaven, Rose Hammond of Chicago, Ill.,Irene Story of Milwaukee, Wis., and Shirley Thompson of LosAngeles, Calif.; and her nephews, Charlie Smith of Sacramento,Calif., James Smith of Antioch, Calif., Samuel Hodge of LosAngeles, and Clarence Burge of Chicago.
