Graveside services for Eleanor Estelle Britt of Grand Bay, Ala.,are 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 16, at Pleasant Ridge United PentecostalChurch Cemetery. Community Funeral Services is in charge ofarrangements.
Visitation is Sunday from 2 p.m. until services, at thechurch.
Mrs. Britt, 61, died Nov. 12, 2003, in New Orleans. She was bornin Escambia County, Fla. on Feb. 22, 1942, to Jeanie Joiner andEuel Joiner.
She was a Wal-Mart Associate for 12 years. She was a member ofApostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Pascagoula.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, DavidJoiner and Leon Joiner; and a granddaugher.
Survivors are her husband, Doug Britt of Grand Bay, Ala.; herdaughter, Rhadonna Richardson of Molino, Fla.; her son, Kirk Brittof Grand Bay, Ala.; and seven grandchildren.
Kathryn Doherty Gallagher
Private services for Kathryn Doherty Gallagher of Splendora,Texas, formerly of Brookhaven, are at St. Francis of AssisiCatholic Church, with burial in the Doherty family plot in thechurch cemetery.
The 6 p.m. mass on Wednesday, Nov. 19 at St. Francis of AssisiCatholic Church will be dedicated to Mrs. Gallagher.
Mrs. Gallagher, 83, died Oct. 12, 2003. She was born in Jacksonto Bettie H. Doherty and James F. Doherty.
She was a graduate of Brookhaven High School and Copiah-LincolnJunior College.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and a son, Brian L.Gallagher.
Survivors are her daugher, Sheilah W. Wenzel of Splendora,Texas; her sons, Hubert J Gallagher, Jr. of Wilmington, N.C., andKevin R. Gallagher of San Diego; her brother, Commander James F.Doherty of Issaquah, Wash.; and her grandson, Shawn J. Gallagher ofChapel Hill, N.C.
J.W. Partin
Services for J.W. Partin of Jayess were 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov.15, at Jayess Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery.Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Partin, 72, died Nov. 14, 2003, at Whitfied State Hospitalin Jackson. He was born in Natchez on March 2, 1931, to FannieBullock Pitts and Sullivan Partin.
He was a retired heavy equipment operator. He was a member ofOperating Engineers Local 624 in Jackson.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors are his wife, Venetta “Tootsie” Partin; his sisters,Patsy Peterson of Arizona, and Eliose Partin of California; and hisbrother, James Partin of Gulfport.
