Services for William C. Davis of Summit are 2 p.m., Monday, Nov.24, at Johnston Station Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery. Catchings Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 3-9 p.m. and Monday from 9 a.m. untilservice time at the church.

Mr. Davis, 58, died Nov. 21, 2003, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center. He was born in Franklin County on Nov. 16,1945, to Clara Belle Nordan Davis and Alvie Davis.

He was a retired tool pusher with Cornwell Well Service. He wasa member of Johnston Station Baptist Church, where he was a deacon.He was a member of the John A. Quitman Masonic Lodge #231.

Preceding him in death were his father; and three brothers,Rudolph Davis, Leo Davis and Billy Ray Davis.

Survivors are his mother; his wife, Dianna Cobb Davis of Summit;his daughter, Stephanie White of Summit; his son, Michael Davis ofSummit; three sisters, Geneva Harrigill of Roxie, Clara Johnston ofSummit, and Wanda Newman of Smithdale; one brother, Buford Davis ofMeadville; two grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
