Services for Palestine Thames Hemphill of Tylertown were 11a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 30, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Roberts Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Hemphill, 100, died Dec. 27, 2003, at Walthall GeneralHospital. She was born in Lawrence County on June 20, 1903, to JoeThames and Oma Sauls Thames.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband, a sisterand a brother.

Survivors are her stepdaughter, Ada May Schofield of Mendenhall;two stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; threestepgreat-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces andnephews.
