Services for Queenie Smith Waldon of Brookhaven are 11 a.m.Monday, Jan. 5, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inEasthaven Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Sunday from 3-8 p.m. and Monday from 8 a.m. untilservice time at Brookhaven Funeral Home.

Mrs. Waldon, 93, died Jan. 2, 2004, at Silver Cross NursingHome. She was born in Franklin County on Jan. 26, 1910, to SarahJane Smith and George W. Smith.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Pentecostalfaith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, James R.Waldon Sr.; a son, Glen Waldon; her brother, Elmer Smith; and asister, Lilly Pritchard.

Survivors are her daughter, Della Jean Adams of Brookhaven; hersons, Donald Waldon of Walker, La., and Jim Waldon of Horn Lake;seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
