Services for Thomas Edward Blalack Jr. of Brookhaven, formerlyof Natchez, are 11:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 15, at BrookhavenFuneral Home Chapel with burial in Bogue Chitto Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 4-8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Blalack, 94, died Jan. 12, 2004, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Charleston on June 19, 1909, to Thomas E.Blalack and Marion H. Blalack.

He was retired from Armstrong Rubber Company. He was an Armyveteran, serving in World War II and the Korean Conflict. He was amember of the Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Ada MaeBlalack; his sisters, Blanche Bloodworth and Addie Brady; and hisbrother, Freddie Blalack.

Survivors are his son and daughter-in-law, William E. and PatsyBlalack of Brookhaven; and his grandchildren, Brent Blalack ofAsheville, N.C., and Courtney Lupton of Fort Worth, Texas.

Charles Henry Green

Services for Charles Henry Green of Brookhaven are 10 a.m.,Thursday, Jan. 15, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burial inConcord Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 2-10 p.m., and Thursday from 8-10a.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Green, 74, died Jan. 12, 2004, at Opelousas General Hospitalin Opelousas, La. He was born in Baton Rouge, La. to Henry F. Greenand Lovey Hendry Green.

He worked proudly in the grocery business for over 49 years. Hewas an Army veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was anactive member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. Hewas a devoted member of First Baptist Church for over 35 years.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and his sisters,Berniece Boone and Eloise McInnis.

Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Irene Westbrook Green ofBrookhaven; his stepdaughter and spouse, Judi and Paul Darbonne ofPort Barre, La.; his sister and brother-in-law, Udalee and Ivy Gillof Bogue Chitto; his granddaughter and spouse, Paula and LeroyLavergne of Port Barre; his grandson and spouse, Jamie and NicoleDarbonne of Leonville, La.; and his great-grandchildren, Amber,Konnor and Sage Darbonne, and Tre and Kiana Lavergne.

David M. Richardson

Services for David M. Richardson of Brookhaven were 10 a.m.,Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel with burialin Easthaven Cemetery.

Mr. Richardson, 71, died Jan. 11, 2004, at his residence. He wasborn in Brookhaven on Feb. 5, 1932, to McKinley Richardson and RubyRoberts Richardson.

He was retired from the State Tax Commission. He was a Navy andArmy veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a member ofJohnson Grove Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Zelma Richardson of Brookhaven; hisdaughter, Amanda Richardson of Baton Rouge, La.; his son anddaughter-in-law, Ken and Cathy Richardson of Plano, Texas; hissisters and brother-in-law, Ayleen Boyett, and Eva Dee and RaymondRodriguez, all of Brookhaven, and Helen Segers of Reston, Va.; hisbrothers and sisters-in-law, Roy and Jo Ann Richardson ofBrookhaven, and Ralph and Linda Richardson of Waynesboro; and hisgrandchildren, Haley and Sydney Richardson.
