Services for Gwin Arvin Nix of Magee, formerly of Brookhaven,were 2 p.m., Jan. 29, at Tutor Funeral Home with burial in PineGrove Cemetery.

Mr. Nix, 73, died Jan. 27, 2004, at Magee General Hospital.

He was retired, and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Joe and Gladys Nix; anda brother, Udell C. Nix.

Survivors are his wife, Louise Hughes Nix of Magee; hisdaughter, Sally Britt Ogden of Brookhaven; his sons, Jim Nix ofWashington, D.C., and Webb Britt of Brookhaven; his sister, LorettaSmith of Brookhaven; his brothers, Dan Nix of Brookhaven, and JoeNix of Clinton; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
