Services for Clara Elizabeth James Cameron of McCall Creek are 2p.m., Saturday, Feb. 28, at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with burial inSt. Luke Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m., and 7-8 p.m., atMarshall Funeral Home Chapel in Bude, and Saturday from noon until2 p.m., at the church.

Mrs. Cameron, 96, died Feb. 22, 2004, at her residence. She wasborn in McCall Creek on Feb. 7, 1908, to Harrison James and MinnieByrd Nelson.

She was a homemaker, and a member of Christian Spring MissionaryBaptist Church and Herion of Jerico.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, O.C.Cameron; her stepson, Joe Byrd; six sisters; four brothers; and agrandson, Timmie Sanders.

Survivors are her daughters, Minnie Sanders, Gladys Williams andPearle Cameron; her sons, Louis Cameron, David Cameron, JackCameron, Joe Cameron, Johnnie Cameron, James Earl Cameron andGeorge “G.C.” Cameron; her brothers, Charlie Nelson, Andrew NelsonJr., Richard Nelson, Warren Nelson and Jessie Nelson; 49grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and 12great-great-grandchildren.
