Loyd Star beat Enterprise 13-1 and 17-1 Monday night in girlsfastpitch softball action at the Hansel King Sportsplex.

First baseman Ashton Williams doubled and tripled to pace LoydStar. Amber Restivo and Shara Johnson singled.

Carolin Burks was the winning pitcher. She struck out 2 battersand walked none.

Lacey O’Quinn absorbed the loss.

Loyd Star 17, Enterprise 1

Directing Loyd Star was Johnson with an inside-the-park homer.Collecting singles were Annie Smith, Brittany Beeson, KristenNewell and Nikki Hunsucker. Restivo tripled.

Burks (5-3) tossed the victory. She fanned 5 and walked 1.

Loyd Star (5-4, 3-1), coached by Jan Delaughter, plays St.Aloysisus tonight at the Complex. Action starts at 5 p.m. with ajunior varisty game, followed by the varsity at 6 p.m.
