Sophomore Caroline Burks hurled a no-hitter Tuesday night tohelp the host Loyd Star Lady Hornet fastpitch softball team to a5-0 division win over the St. Aloysius Lady Flashes at the HanselKing Sportsplex. Burks struck out eight batters and walked one andimproved to 6-3 on the season.

At the plate, Kristin Newell led the Lady Hornets with a double.Hitting RBI singles were Nikki Hunsucker and Amber Restivo. Alsosingling was Calleye Douglas.
