Services for Texie Mae Burnette of Ferriday, La., are 2 p.m.,Thursday, April 15, at Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with burial inProvidence Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mrs. Burnette, 93, died April 13, 2004, at Camelot LeisureLiving Center. She was born in Lawrence County on Nov. 4, 1910, toTom Boyd and Hattie Boyd.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, ByronWilliam Burnette; a daughter; a sister and two brothers.

Survivors are her son, Toxie Burnette of Vidalia, La.; herbrother, Robert Boyd of Lincoln County; five grandchildren; 13great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
