Services for Kevin Joseph Cooper of Wesson are 2 p.m., Saturday,May 1, at Clear Branch Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5-9 p.m., at Brookhaven Funeral Home,and Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon at the funeral home, and 1-2p.m., at the church.

Mr. Cooper, 27, died April 27, 2004, at his residence. He wasborn in McComb on July 24, 1976, to Edwin Joseph Cooper and KathyWeathersby Cooper.

He was a welder, loving father and devoted husband. He was amember of Clear Branch Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Evie Smith.

Survivors are his parents, Edwin Joseph and Kathy Cooper ofRobbinsville, N.C.; his wife, Julie Netherland Cooper of Wesson;his daughter, Michaela Katherine Cooper, 3, of Wesson; hisgrandmother, Lelia Cooper of Jackson; his sister andbrother-in-law, Amy and Kerry Waldon of French Camp; his nephews,Samuel Waldon and Nicholas Waldon, both of French Camp; hisparents-in-law, Jerry and Sue Netherland of Brookhaven; hissister-in-law, Katy Netherland; his wife’s grandparents, Zack andJuell Moak of Brookhaven; his wife’s aunt, Ann Moak; and a host ofaunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorials may be made to the benefit fund for his daughter,Michaela Cooper, at Trustmark Bank.
