MEADVILLE — The Cellular South Franklin County FootballJamboree kicks off Thursday in Louie Mullins Stadium. Joining thehost Bulldogs in the jamboree are Lawrence County, West Jones,Tylertown, Amite County, South Pike, North Pike and WilkinsonCounty.

Two games will take place simultaneously on each side of the50-yard line. In the varsity contests, each team will have 15minutes on offense and 15 minutes on defense. The junior varsitygames will last 12 minutes.

Action starts at 4 p.m. Thursday with Franklin County playingWest Jones.

“We have some real good teams in the jamboree,” said FranklinCounty coach Anthony Hart. “Folks will get to see a lot of footballin one day.”

The games are scheduled to conclude at 8:30.
