Services for the Rev. William E. Alexander of McComb, formerlyof McCall Creek, are 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, at MontgomeryBaptist Church with burial in the church cemetery. Services will beconducted by the Revs. Bill Miller and Wayne Sanders. Pianist willbe Delores Moak. Vocalist will be Hubert Greer.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9 p.m., at Brookhaven Funeral Home,and Wednesday from 1-2 p.m., at the church.

The Rev. Alexander, 91, died May 9, 2004, at Aston CourtAssisted Living Center. He was born in Lincoln County on Dec. 8,1912, to Edward Alexander and Lela Bales Alexander.

He was a retired Baptist minister and had pastored many churchesthroughout Mississippi for over 50 years. He was a member ofMontgomery Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; two wives, EdiveeWallace Alexander and Alice Alexander; and 13 brothers andsisters.

Survivors are his wife, Audrey Alexander of McCall Creek; hissons and daughters-in-law, B.J. and Lois Alexander of Morgan Mill,Texas, and James E. and Evelyn Alexander of Summit; his sister,Mildred Johnson of Summit; his brother and sister-in-law, Robertand Erma Stockton of Summit; four grandchildren; sevengreat-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host ofnieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Billy Joe Case, Charles Lofton, BillAlexander, Jim Alexander, Drew Alexander and Dustin Alexander.Honorary pallbearers will be the Men’s Senior Adult Sunday SchoolClass.
