Services for August Marshall Sr. of Roxie are noon Thursday,June 3, at Bethlehem Church in Hamburg with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from noon until 5 p.m., at MarshallFuneral Home Chapel in Bude.

Mr. Marshall, 94, died May 29, 2004, at Franklin MemorialHospital. He was born in Hamburg on Aug. 10, 1909, to John Marshalland Hattie James Marshall.

He was a retired sawmill worker. He was an Army veteran. He wasa member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he served as adeacon.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, SarahMarshall; two sisters, Vertis O’Gwin and Amanda Williams; and fourbrothers, Jim Anderson, A.C. Marshall, Louis Marshall and AddisMarshall.

Survivors are his son, August Marshall Jr.; his granddaughters,Andrea T. Marshall Johnson and husband Walter of Dupo, Ill., andAshley E. Marshall of Hamburg; his great-grandson, Jaylan Johnsonof Dupo; his nieces, Roberta Dyer, Dorothy Thompson, BarbaraMarshall and Alice Jones, all of Natchez; his nephews, LouisMarshall of Alexandria, La., Addis Marshall Jr., John Marshall andRicky Marshall, all of Natchez; his special sons, Lee Thomas ofAlexandria, and Tommy Felton of Smokey Mountain, Ga.

Charles Estus McGraw

Services for Charles Estus McGraw of Ruth are 11 a.m.,Wednesday, June 2, at Topisaw Baptist Church with burial in thechurch cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 4-9 p.m., at Brookhaven FuneralHome.

Mr. McGraw, 75, died May 30, 2004, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. He was born in Bogalusa, La., on Jan. 25, 1929, to E.L.McGraw and Hettie Mae Kyzar McGraw.

He was a retired boilermaker, working out of Local #582 of BatonRouge, La. He was a member of Topisaw Baptist Church, and he was a50-year mason and member of Topisaw Lodge #413. He enjoyed having agarden.

Preceding him in death were his parents.

Survivors are his wife, Sarah Brister McGraw of Ruth; hisdaughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Clyde Burns and Missy and StanMorgan, all of Ruth; sons and daughters-in-law, Larry and NickieMcGraw and Joey and Molly McGraw, all of Ruth; sisters, JaniceFuller and husband, Rome, of Ruth and Dorothy and husband, RobertRenfroe, of Jayess; 12 grandchildren; and threegreat-grandchildren.
