Services for Yvonne McGlothing, formerly of Brookhaven, are 11a.m., Saturday, June 5, at Moak’s Creek Baptist Church. HartmanFuneral Home of McComb is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. McGlothing died May 30, 2004, in Houston, Texas. She wasborn in McComb of Aug. 8, 1920 to Julius Bonnom McGuffee and OvieThornhill McGuffee.

She was a resident of Brookhaven from 1961-1992. While inBrookhaven, she was employed by First Federal Saving and LoanAssociation. She was interested in history and genealogy and was amember of the Order of First Families of Mississippi and the OldBrook Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She wasa member of First Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her former husband, Charles McGlothing; herdaughter and son-in-law, Sam and David Boggess; her sister andbrother-in-law, Gerry and Pete Flowers; and her nephew, SonnyFlowers.
