Services for Ethelinder Matthews Jordan of Bogue Chitto were 2p.m., Saturday, May 23, at Catchings Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Hollywood Cemetery. The services will be conducted by theRev. Billy J. Moak.

Mrs. Jordan, 85, died May 20, 2004, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center. She was born in Franklin County on Nov.18, 1918, to Reubin Matthews and Dora Brabham Matthews.

She was a homemaker. She was a member of Central Church ofChrist.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and four siblings, R.Dell Matthews, Pinky Matthews, Donald Matthews, and MavisTemple.

Survivors are her husband, James Lee Jordan; her children,Jameline Moak, Byron Jordan, and Juletta Warrick; her siblings,Merle Matthews, Fannie Hoots, Eleanor Johnston, Hattie PearlMatthews and Larry Matthews; her granddaughter, Wyndi Moak; herstep- grandchildren, Alissa Karam and Matthew Karam; and manynieces and nephews.
