Services for Judith “Pinkie” Phillips Rawls of Bogue Chitto are2 p.m., Wednesday, June 9, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel withburial in Henry Moak Cemetery in the Shady Grove community. AnEastern Star service will be held at 6 p.m., Tuesday at the funeralhome.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5-9:30 p.m., and Wednesday from 9a.m. until 2 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rawls, 86, died June 6, 2004, at her residence. She wasborn in Lincoln County on Sept. 9, 1917, to Arthur Phillips andGeorgia Lawrence Phillips.

She was a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of Shady GroveBaptist Church. She was a member of Topisaw Eastern Star,Chloe-Holt DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) andBrookhaven Alpha Lions Club.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Owen MoakRawls; and a son, Ford Rawls.

Survivors are her daughters, Linda Bond of Purvis and ElizabethRawls of Bogue Chitto; her sons, David Rawls of Houston, Texas, andWinston “Pete” Rawls and Gale “Cooter” Moak Rawls, both of BogueChitto; 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
