Services for Staff Sgt. Charles Joseph “C.J.” Linkey II ofWarner Robins, Ga., are 2 p.m., Sunday, June 13, at Robins AirForce Base Chapel. McCullough Funeral Home in Warner Robins, Ga.,is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Linkey, 29, died Thursday, June 10, 2004, at his residence.He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 17, 1974, to Charles J. andJoyce Linkey of Pass Christian.

He served in the U.S. Air Force at Dyess Air Force Base inAbilene, Texas for 10 years. At the time of his death, he wasstationed at Robins Air Force Base and served in the Georgia AirNational Guard. He graduated from Brookhaven High School. Hishobbies included fishing, hunting and motorcycling.

Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Merle andHelen J. Linkey, and his maternal grandfather, Anthony O.Kaczmarek.

Survivors are his parents; his sisters and brothers-in-law,Kelly and Bobby Covington of Brookhaven, Kerry and Tim Sorrell ofBirmingham, Ala., Kristin Wallace of Madison, Cheryl and TomWalters, and Christine Cutcher, all of Toledo, Ohio; his brothersand sisters-in-law, Kurt P. Abbey of Madison, Keith P. and KorrinAbbey of Atlanta, Ga., Keith and Traci Linkey of Toledo, Ohio; hismaternal grandmother, Martha Kaczmarek of Toledo, Ohio; and manyaunts, uncles, nephews and nieces.
