Services for Tony Quitman Burns of Wesson are 4 p.m., Monday,June 14, at Rocky Hill Baptist Church with burial in Rocky HillCemetery. Community Funeral Services is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Monday from 1-4 p.m., at the church.

Mr. Burns, 52, died June 13, 2004, at his residence. He was bornin Brookhaven on June 25, 1952, to Quitman Burns and Ruby BrittBurns of Wesson.

He worked in the oil field with Entergy Drilling Company.

Survivors are his parents; his daughters, Susie BurnsGandenberger of Hazlehurst, and Ashley Burns of Wesson; his son,Jody Quitman Burns of Hazlehurst; his brother, Willie Earl Burns ofWesson; and three grandchildren.

John Thomas Hawes

Graveside services for John Thomas Hawes of Hazlehurst were 3:30p.m., Sunday, June 13, in Hazlehurst City Cemetery. CommunityFuneral Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hawes, 84, died June 10, 2004, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Wesson on Aug. 30, 1920,to Newton Hawes and Cicila Demolliens.

He was retired from the Air Force.

Preceding him in death were his sisters.

Survivors are his brother, Cecil Hawes of Poulsbo, Wash.; andhis niece, Cicilia Papas.
