Services for Toye Dykes Jr. of Jayess are 11 a.m., Friday, June18, at Sauls Valley Baptist Church with burial in the churchcemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 5 p.m. until the service onFriday.

Mr. Dykes, 69, died June 16, 2004, at his residence. He was bornin Mississippi on Jan. 30, 1935, to Toye Dykes and Woodrow CarterDykes.

He was a retired oil field supervisor and he also worked in themeat department at IGA in Monticello. He was a member of SaulsValley Baptist Church.

Preceding him in death were his parents; and one infant son,Alvin “Little Al” Dykes.

Survivors are his wife, Frances Roberts Mullins Dykes of Jayess;his daughters, Jeanenne White of Monticello, Penny Bochicchio ofMcComb, and Pattie Mullins of Monticello; one son, Johnny “Pete”Dykes of Metarie, La.; his sisters, Rosie Hill of Ponchatoula, La.,Laura Brown of Hammond, La., Barbara Adams of Hammond, La., andMinnie Mickney of Hammond, La.; her grandchildren, Christi LynnAkins, Tyrell Dykes, Vanessa Rutland, Jessica Johnson, ChelseaCaul, Hannah Caul, Brandi Neal; and two great-grandsons.
