Bernell Dickerson Sr.
Services for Bernell Dickerson Sr. of Wesson are 2 p.m.,Saturday, July 31, at Union Grove M.B. Church in Wesson with burialin St. Peter Rock Cemetery in Wesson.
Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at Tyler FuneralHome.
Mr. Dickerson, 70, died July 24, 2004, at Mississippi BaptistMedical Center in Jackson. He was born in Lincoln County on August7, 1933, to Dave Dickerson and Mary Williams Moore.
He was a retired pulpwood hauler. He was a member of Union GroveM.B. Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, EthelrineDickerson; and his grandmother who raised him, Vivian Moore.
Survivors are his daughters, Joan Bryant of Brookhaven, BettyPearl Smith and Geraldine Dickerson, both of Beauregard, EstherDickerson and Peggy Johnson, both of Atlanta, Ga., and AnnetteEllis of Ft. Worth, Texas; his sons, Bernell Dickerson Jr. andHoward Dickerson, both of Beauregard, and Donald Dickerson andMichael Dickerson, both of Atlanta; his brother, Andrew Dickersonof Gulfport; 20 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a hostof nieces and nephews.
Gladys Irene Moore
Services for Gladys Irene Moore of Laurel are 2 p.m., Friday,July 30, at Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Ellisville with burial inSunset Garden Cemetery. The Rev. Allen McCord will officiate.
Visitation is Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Moore, 79, died July 28, 2004, at South Central RegionalMedical Center, Laurel. She was born to Pearlie and BessieMinton.
She worked in the day care at Highland Baptist Church in WestEllisville and in the shoe department at Hezekiah’s. She was amember of Harmony Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, ClydeMoore; her sister, Betty Jean Trahan; and her brother, OrvilleMinton.
Survivors are her daughter, Shelia Moore Craven and her husband,Jason, of Laurel; her sister, Christine Freeman and her husband,Eddie, of Natchez; her nephew, Sammie Thornhill and his wife Joyce;her granddaughter, Amber Dawn Craven; and a host of nieces andnephews.
Pallbearers will be the deacons of Harmony Baptist Church.
