Services for Betty Beavers Gill of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m.,Tuesday, Aug. 24, at Hartman Funeral Home Chapel in McComb withburial in Hollywood Cemetery in McComb. James Turner willofficiate.

Visitation was Monday from 5-10 p.m. and Tuesday 8 a.m. until 2p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Gill, 59, died of cancer Aug. 22, 2004, at UniversityMedical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on June 1, 1945, toFelix and Annie Beavers.

She was a homemaker. She was a Jehovah’s Witness.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brother, MonroeBeavers.

Survivors are her husband, Otto B. Gill of Bogue Chitto; herstep mother, Mary Beavers; her daughters, Kimberly Boykin and herhusband, Chris, of Bogue Chitto; her son, Kevin Gill ofHattiesburg; her sisters, Mary F. Johnson of Bunkie, La., DorothyMartin and her husband, John, of Brookhaven, Joyce Ruby of Jayess,Johnnie Boyles of Ruth, and Elaine Richardson and her husband,Wayne, of Bogue Chitto; her brothers, Thomas J. Beavers of McComb,Lonnie Ray Beavers and his wife, Patricia, of Brookhaven, and Bobby”Pete” Beavers and his wife, Connie, of Brookhaven; hergrandchildren, Shana Boykin and Braylan Boykin; and numerousnieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be J.W. Gill, Jimmy Gill, James Gill, RickyBeavers, Scot Boyles and Chris Boyles.
