Steve Kindel Collinsworth

Services for Steve Kindel Collinsworth of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Friday, Sept. 3, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation is Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Collinsworth, 45, died Aug. 31, 2004, at his residence. Hewas born in Brookhaven on Jan. 18, 1959, to Charles KindelCollinsworth and Charlene Davis Collinsworth of Brookhaven.

He was a work adjustment instructor at Vocational Rehabilitationof Brookhaven. He was a member of the Methodist faith.

Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs.Charles L. Davis of Malvern, Ark., and Mr. and Mrs. KimbleCollinsworth of Bienville, La.

Survivors are his parents; his wife, Cindy Person Collinsworthof Brookhaven; his daughters, Amber Collinsworth of Lafayette, La.and Smythe Murray of Brookhaven; his sons, Kindel Collinsworth andhis wife, Jana, of Brandon, and Brenton Collinsworth of BatonRouge, La.; his two grandsons, Haden and Parker Wallace of Brandon;his sisters, Susan Allen and her husband, Reggie, and SandraRushing and her husband, Charles; his nieces, Stephanie Reynaud andEmily Childress; his nephew, Collins Allen; his grand nephews,Reese Reynaud and Grayson Childress, all of Brookhaven.

Mr. Collinsworth will be cremated and his ashes scattered atLake Concordia, La. in a private ceremony.

Dorothy “Jane” Lambright

Memorial services for Dorothy “Jane” Lambright of Brookhaven are2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 2, at New Prospect Baptist Church withburial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in chargeof arrangements.

Mrs. Lambright, 57, died Aug. 31, 2004, at King’s DaughtersMedical Center. She was born in St. Augustine, Fla., on April 26,1947, to Walter Ralph Kinlaw and Betty Jane Birchfield Kinlaw.

She was a dispatcher for the City of Brookhaven PoliceDepartment. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

Survivors are her adoptive parents Lewis and Jo Ann Mazer ofBrookhaven; her husband, George E. Lambright of Brookhaven; herdaughter, Shannon Michelle Culotta of Brookhaven; her sons, JohnHarris of Brookhaven, Sean Michael Culotta of Tampa, Fla., GeorgeMurray Lambright of Brookhaven and Christopher Scott Lambright ofBrookhaven; her sisters, Lynne Rowell and her husband, Lester, ofGulfport, and Lenita Furman of Tulsa, Ok.; her brothers, Lewis H.Mazer III and his wife, Tina, of Brookhaven, Keith Mazer and hiswife, Molly, of Brookhaven, and Wayne Mazer and his wife, Peggy, ofBrookhaven; her mother-in-law, Eva N. Lambright of Brookhaven; hersister-in-law, Lucy Shell of Brookhaven; and 10 grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Alice L. Porter Terrell

Services for Alice L. Porter Terrell of Bogue Chitto are 2 p.m.,Sunday, Sept. 5, at Mt. Zion M.B. Church in Bogue Chitto withburial in the church cemetery.

Visitation is Saturday from noon until 7 p.m. with familypresent from 6-7 p.m. at R.E. Tyler Funeral Home.

Mrs. Terrell, 57, died Aug. 30, 2004, at Southwest RegionalMedical Center in McComb. She was born in Lincoln County on Jan. 7,1947, to the Rev. Jimmie Porter and Mammie Lee Smith Porter ofBogue Chitto.

She was a graduate of Mississippi Valley State University. Shewas a former case worker at the Lincoln County Food Stamp officeand worked in the Lincoln County Tax Assessor’s office. She waslast employed as an assistant manager at Kroger. She attendedAbundant Life Church and considered herself a missionary forChrist. She was a member of Mt. Zion M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her father; one brother, ArthurPorter; and one sister, Blanche Porter.

Survivors are her mother; her husband, Leo Terrell Jr. of BogueChitto; her daughters, Tammy Renee Terrell-McNair of Starkville andCynthia Terrell of Bogue Chitto; her sons, Leo Terrell III ofJayess, and LeKeith Terrell of Bogue Chitto; her sisters, InezHumphrey of Brookhaven, Louise Porter, JoAnn Hunt and Lisa Hunt,all of Bogue Chitto; her brothers, Isaac Porter of Pascagoula,Jimmie “JP” Porter, Oscar Porter, and Larry Porter, all ofBrookhaven, Robert Porter and John Porter, both of Bogue Chitto,and David Lewis Porter of Springfield, La.; four grandchildren; anda host of nieces and nephews.

Josephine Byrd Winston

Services for Josephine Byrd Winston of Brookhaven are 2 p.m.,Saturday, Sept. 4, at Siloam M.B. Church with burial in the churchcemetery.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 7 p.m. with family hourfrom 6-7 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.

Mrs. Winston, 46, died Aug. 28, 2004, at Tulane UniversityMedical Center. She was born in Lincoln County on June 6, 1958, toOssie Byrd and Ola Mae Kelly Byrd.

She was a 1976 graduate of West Lincoln High School. She was amember of St. Paul M.B. Church in Quentin.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and two sisters, GloriaWeathersby and Wyline Byrd.

Survivors are her daughter, Tranesha Henry of Brookhaven; hersons, Travis Byrd and Wyrick Byrd, both of Brookhaven; her lovingand devoted companion, Dameron Henry of Brookhaven; her sisters,Mary Henderson and her husband, Edward, of Brookhaven; EarnestineBurks of Brookhaven, and Phyllis Peartree of Brookhaven; herbrothers, E.C. Byrd of Brookhaven, Guy Williams of Brookhaven,Wayne Cooper of Monticello, and Cory Green of Michigan; her stepmother, Gloria Byrd of Brookhaven; two grandchildren; and a host ofnieces, nephews, cousins, uncles and friends.
