Services for Edgar Paul Jacks Sr. of Meadville are 2 p.m.Saturday, Sept. 18, at Franklin Funeral Home Chapel in Meadvillewith burial in Midway Cemetery in Meadville.

Visitation is Friday from 4-9 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m.until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Jacks, 76, died Sept. 15, 2004, at his residence. He wasborn in Brookhaven on April 18, 1928, to Ira Forrest Jacks andPearl Keen Jacks.

He was a minister. He was a member of Bude Church of Christ.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one daughter, BeckyJacks Hawkins; and a nephew, John Paul Jodiet.

Survivors are his wife, Mary Seyfarth Jacks of Meadville; hisdaughter, Pat Jacks Farmer of Crystal Springs; his son, Edgar JacksJr. of Meadville; his grandchildren, Christi Hawkins Brantley ofMonticello, Ira Jacks of Meadville, and Ashley Farmer of CrystalSprings; one great grandchild, Kasey Brantley of Monticello; hissister, Viola Jodiet and her husband, Bill, of Waldorf, Md.
