Ward 4 voters will go to the polls tomorrow to elect a newalderman from a field of four candidates.

The winning candidate in the special election will complete theterm of former Alderman Don Estes, who died recently. The termexpires in June.

The Ward 4 post will be up for election – along with the otheraldermen seats and other citywide offices – next year.

Candidates vying for the office in tomorrow’s special electionare Jay Bishop, Boyce Bullock, Shirley Estes and SteveMelancon.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
