Services for Edna Marjorie Smith of Spanaway, Wash., are 11 a.m.Thursday, Oct. 21 at Brookhaven Funeral Home with burial inMacedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mrs. Smith, 81, died Oct. 14, 2004, at Good Samaritan Hospital,Puvallup, Wash. She was born in Brookhaven on Nov. 21, 1922, toHugh Monroe Callender and Estella Newton Callender.

She was a homemaker.

Preceding her in death were her parents; and her husband, HermanSmith.

Survivors are her sons, Melvin Smith of the Gulf Coast, TerrySmith of Spanaway, and Phillip Smith of Dubai, United ArabEmirates; her sister, Zelma Smith of Brookhaven; ninegrandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
